BQ Energy is the leading developer and owner/operator of utility-scale renewable energy projects at closed landfills and brownfields sites. We are focused in the northeastern USA. Our most recent owner/operator projects include 2.3 MW in Patterson, NY; 750 kW in Derby, CT; and 1 MW in Esopus, NY (will be operating by October 2017). In addition, we have over 80 MW of solar PV in advanced development. Our most publicized project is the 35 MW Steel Winds Project, now owned by Terraform, located at a closed steel mill in Lackawanna, New York.
