ABOUT JAMES ENGDAHL

Despite being in retirement, my passion for people and corporate finance still pull me out of bed in the early hours to support my colleagues and their referrals. As Fred Rogers said, “Often when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.” Simply put, I continue to solve business problems for business people by putting my diverse experience, contacts and network to work for people that inspire me with their like-minded passion for success.I have run many publicly listed companies and remain an active and sought after board member for various companies looking for specialized knowledge and strategic business planning. Historically, I was a Managing Partner of Corporate Finance for one of Canada’s largest accounting firms and have a strong knowledge of the finance and banking issues affecting today’s marketplace. Through my vast networks of people and industries that include the mining, energy and environmental sectors, I am often relied upon as a trustworthy and valued support for new and experienced business owners.Typically speaking many start up companies get on with selling or manufacturing their product or selling their services without putting structure or an organization behind that with a strategic plan or proper governance. I have helped many companies thru this growth.I have special expertise in Public Companies as a senior executive and director specifically in the Rare Earth world and other senior level mining projects.
