James (Jim) Rogers is an inspirational speaker who energizes audiences with personal stories, life\'s lessons, and concrete steps that can lead to business success. He has made numerous persentations to corporate leadership, universitiy students, and civic organizations nationwide. Jim is also the Co-Author of the best selling \"It\'s All About The Race: Four Perspectives For Success.\"James E. Rogers, Jr, graduated cum laude from Bluefield State College, Bluefield, West Virginia, and received his law degree from The University of Toledo College of Law. A member of both Law Review and the Moot Court Board he was recognized with several honors culminating in 1979 with the “Dean’s Award” presented to a single member of the University of Toledo College of Law graduating class making the most significant contribution to the Law School. After serving in the Office of Chief Counsel IRS in June 1994 he was selected as Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner for the IRS in Washington, D.C. and he is currently the longest tenured Executive in the IRS.Continuing his commitment to higher education Rogers served as a member of the Advisory Board for the Thurgood Marshall Business Initiative at Indiana University Kelley School of Business and served on the Advisory Board for the School of Business for the University of Indianapolis. Named by Ebony Magazine as one of 50 Young Leaders of the Future, he also served as National President of Blacks in Government (BIG). In recognition of his leadership and commitment to community service, Rogers is the recipient of the Center for Leadership Development’s Achievement and Public Service Award.He has served as the Acting Chair of the Greater Cincinnati Federal Executive Board and President of the Federal Executive Association of Indianapolis.Specialties: Corporate Leadership, Business Groups, Diversity Organizations, Ethics & Leadership, Colleges & Universities, professional organizations and team building workshops.
