Instrument Technician for Worley, Enquest Instrument Maintenance Team, Sullom Voe Terminal @Worley

Instrument Technician (Ex RAF) working for EnQuest Maintenance Team through Worley at Sullom Voe Oil Terminal. • Responsible for routine maintenance and fault rectification. • Instrument calibration and loop testing. • Work conducted on pressure, flow, temperature, and level instruments, fire and gas, control valves, fiscal and accountancy metering, various analysers and SIL loops. • Experience with Honeywell Experion DCS, Safety Manager, HART and Fieldbus systems. • Competent in construction and inspection of SBT assemblies. • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of permit to work systems, risk assessments and SIRP’s. • Responsible for recording of maintenance data, review and updating of drawings. • Previously served with the RAF for ten years as an avionics and aircraft electrical supervisor. • Extensive training in health and safety with the ability to identify hazardous situations and provide safe solutions. • Acceptance of project work back to maintenance/operations control • Team leading, resolving logistical issues, coordination of decommissioning work, refurbishment or construction and installation, full walk downs and acceptance checks and commissioning of instrument systems on the following projects; 1. Aurora Gas plant commissioning team and the LP/HP 5 process train renewal 2. Stab 1 Stabilisation train renewal project 3. Fiscal metering flow computer upgrades 4. Crude loading pump renewals 5. Laggan and Tormore condensate pipeline project 6. Recommissioning work on water storage and crude oil tanks • Reliable, enthusiastic and punctual, able to work calmly under pressure. • Computer literate, a good written and oral communicator and a positive, proactive approach to health and safety. • Experienced in working and living away from home both in UK and abroad. • Successful mentoring and development of junior members ensuring they achieved the standards expected to become effective team members.
