Work on Investor Repurchase and Client Recovery functions. Serve as a primary point of contact for all Investors, relative to the management of notices of defects, repurchase demands, file requests, and missing document requests. Accountable for the coordination, and administration of the client recovery process. Work closely with the dept. leadership to ensure that decisions made comply with company guidelines, underwriting philosophy, and policy and procedures to mitigate Lakeview/Bayview losses.• Manage responses to and resolution of all investor notices of defects and repurchase demands consistent with company policies and procedures and specific investor requirements.• When/where necessary, assist in the coordination of both internal and external communications to GSE\'s for escalated issues, such as breach of the GSE Guidelines, and assist with the development of a resolution.• Communicate with other business units (underwriting, operations, quality assurance, servicing, business development, etc) deficiencies, trends and/or process gaps and recommend corrective action.• Assist in managing the repurchase process for Third Party Originations client base. Includes accurately verifying the breaches of client representations and/or warranties pursuant to their applicable contract, enforce repurchase requests/demands; manage the client appeal process, timely collection of repurchase and make whole funds, negotiation of alternative resolutions such as indemnification, payment plan, or settlement
