As the leader of ERM\'s Digitial Innovation business, I planned and led the development of software to facilitate asset decarbonization, regulatory compliance, auditing, certification, project management, product lifecycle analysis, and climate impact assessment. My global team focused on leveraging sustainability-related subject matter expertise, AI and Machine Learning, and a deep knowledge of client operations to optimize the value that ERM creates through consulting engagements. As part of this role, I worked closely with client executive and technical leaders, internal ERM subject matter experts, commercial teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the software we created met the most stringent cybersecurity standards in our industry while providing cost-effective digital tools. In less than ten weeks from ideation to MVP, our solutions have been used by many Fortune 10 companies and their supply chains, both as part of ERM consulting projects and as standalone SaaS products.My role included supporting ERM due diligence and acquisitions, training and education, business operations, client relationship management, hiring, technical community leadership, and above all, continued engagement with ERM clients.

Mr. Descheneaux is a Partner with Environmental Resources Management (ERM), the leading global provider of sustainability services.Mr. Descheneaux has been engaged in SSHE consulting with ERM since 1998, and has worked on projects throughout the United States, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Management experience includes strategic planning, regulatory strategy, corporate planning, budget development, cost tracking, task delegation, and the successful execution of projects with budgets ranging from several thousand USD to $25MM USD. Mr. Descheneaux has developed 5-year company plans, including costs for capital projects, for major oil and gas companies, and has provided cost-benefit analyses for various scopes of work. As a senior technical leader, Mr. Descheneaux has successfully designed and executed projects within the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, and Power Sectors. Projects have ranged from small investigations and remediation efforts to multimillion dollar unit closures and site decontamination, decommissioning, and demolition activities. Mr. Descheneaux has developed and directed compliance assurance programs across all SSHE media for upstream, midstream, and downstream Oil & Gas clients, and has been involved in the deployment of compliance content into various information management systems. Areas of expertise include site investigation and remediation, regulatory compliance assurance, behavior-based health and safety, leadership engagement, construction management, and security.Mr. Descheneaux has filled numerous leadership positions within ERM, including roles focused on business operation, global safety program deployment, and client-focused program development. Mr. Descheneaux has also served as a coordinator for the ERM Foundation, the company’s non-profit group dedicated to environmental education, social stewardship, and community engagement.
