Windstream\'s Network Optimization Engineering Implementation Team (NetOpts) is composed of 47 full time employees responsible for Engineering network grooming activity, regardless of inventory system or circuit type. Specifically, NetOpts is responsible for request validation, order entry, circuit design, ASR submission (if required), order coordination and groom implementation (including breaking down old circuit paths). NetOpts is comprised of employees from various heritage companies (McLeod, Cavalier, Paetec, Nuvox, Earthlink and Windstream) in multiple disciplines and skill sets. NetOpts goal is to ensure network grooming activity at Windstream is managed and completed efficiently and effectively in order to realize savings initiatives and insure an optimized network.
