ABOUT JAMES DEAN CHAVEZ
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that what lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. My detail-oriented and self-motivated work ethic is a common element in all aspects of my life. As a student of California State University, Northridge, where I received my Bachelor of Arts with Magna Cum Laude distinction, I joined the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity with the intention of bettering myself and helping others. I eagerly took on various leadership positions within the fraternity in order to improve my own organizational and leadership abilities. As vice president I motivated and personally lead my chapter to host our first philanthropy in several years, which successfully raised just under I also personally collaborated with various members in order to help them find their true potential. That was the same year that our chapter had a full programming calendar in a long time. My personal goal after college has been to challenge myself by finding an opportunity where I can step out of my own comfort zone and help make a positive impact in the lives of others. All of my jobs and internships have given me the occasion to learn and grow. I am seeking the opportunity to utilize my education, motivate others, and grow both personally and alongside a company.
