ABOUT JAMES DAY

I have worked in the insurance industry for nearly 28 years. I started out in 1994 as an Intern reporting directly to the Owner of Health Administration Services (H.A.S.). My internship lasted for two years where I learned about how a T.P.A. business operates from the owner’s perspective. Thereafter, I began to work on special projects, and I was a member of our Marketing team which increased our membership from lives to over in less than four years. After this growth, I was put in charge of overseeing the development and maintenance of the client financial reporting system. This system created financial reporting which included my analysis of the data to include plan change recommendations and projection costs. Sometime after the sale of the company to Trisurant (now Health First), I made the move to Memorial Hermann- Health Network Providers-MHealth-Memorial Hermann Health Insurance Company. I was with Memorial Hermann for nearly eight years where I sold both self-funded and fully insured health plans. I moved over to the Broker side 10 years ago. Now I sell insurance to both small and large group employers. I am a licensed insurance agent and have my Texas Group One Life and Health License with a certification to sell Annuities.
