I am Currently working within the Water Catchment Management (WCM) team, supporting the delivery of projects and day-to-day operations aimed at maintaining and improving water catchment systems. Involved in assisting site activities, supporting supervisors and wider teams, and helping ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with environmental and operational standards.Alongside this, I am also in my final year of University studying towards a BEng in Civil Engineering as-well as preparing to apply for IEng with the ICE.

ABOUT JAMES DAVIS ENGTECH
As a Civil Engineer Apprentice at Jacobs, I work on various multi-disciplinary projects that assess and manage tidal flood defences along the Thames Estuary, while providing sustainable solutions for the environment and the community. Im currently in my fifth and final year of studying towards my BEng in Civil Engineering at London South Bank University, where I balance my academic and practical learning. I am passionate about carbon and flood management, and I have developed skills in carbon accounting, asset management, and environmental impact assessment. I aspire to become a chartered civil engineer and contribute to the resilience and sustainability of the infrastructure sector.
