As an experienced attorney and in-house legal executive, I have developed a pragmatic, business-minded approach to corporate and real estate transactions. I have over 20 years combined experience, primarily at large firms, senior in-house positions at two NYSE-listed hospitality companies, and most recently at one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds.Over the course of my career, I have developed sophisticated skills in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial real estate, debt and equity finance, complex commercial contracts, SEC compliance, and public company corporate governance and legal department management, especially with respect to REIT’s and the hospitality industry. I also have substantial international experience.Currently, I am a partner with a global law firm, focusing on private equity real estate transactions, hospitality & leisure, and sovereign wealth funds (SWFs). I am admitted to practice in both Washington D.C. and New York and plan to spend a significant amount of time in both locations. I have extensive experience advising on all stages of the real estate life cycle – from entity formation and initial investment/capital deployment, through financing and asset management, to strategizing and executing exit options.I am interested in opportunities to work with companies and clients to support long-term strategic initiatives that promote company growth.
