I was born and raised on the island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I moved to Houston, TX, to attend Rice University in 2010, earning my B.A. in Kinesiology-Sports Medicine and Political Science. I also attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH earning my Master of Science in Medical Physiology and Biophysics and Master of Business Administration from Weatherhead School of Management. My background includes research positions at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disorders, the Bioscience Research Collaborative, as well as specific clinical data analyst at Houston Eye Associates under Dr. Mark C.
