WORK HISTORY
President @Kineticcore
Loveland, CO, US
Leading an energy storage technology start-up developing and fielding the next generation of Kinetic Energy Storage System (KESS) capability for applications needing wide power capabilities (0.25-5C) and high daily cycle (2-48) with 25+ year daily operations. Supporting utilities, renewables, commercial and transportation applications- Transportation: High power, high cycle hybrid EV chargers to allow Lvl-2 input & Lvl-3+ charging. Fleet electrification infrastructure deferral. Lowers charging costs with peak demand reduction- Utilities: high daily cycle peak load and regulation for CO2 & cost reduction vs. spinning reserve - Renewables: smoothing & load shifting solar/wind for grid stabilization and peak support - Commercial: multi-cycle facility peak load management for reduced power costsAdvocates for carbon-free power solutions and enabling the transition to on-demand renewable power.Check out our Company website for more information at

ABOUT JAMES CLEGERN
Dr. Clegern leads KineticCore Solutions (KCS) preparing to field a non-chemical, cost-effective, high-power Energy Storage system optimized for grid stabilizing, peak power reduction operations. An integrated KCS \"Kinetic Battery\" supports up to a 80% peak power reduction for land/air/sea EV Fast Chargers and commercial/industrial electrification applications with periodic operations (i.e. large HVAC, heat-pumps, refrigeration, furnaces, and pumps). This improves local grid stability (no power spikes), reduces power grid upgrades and reduces power demand charges on electrical bills. Peak power support enables wider spread pollution reducing electrification with less power draw from the grid, and for a cost up to 65% less than Li-ion systems with the same power performance. With more than 33 years experience managing, researching, building, testing and deploying new technologies in military, aerospace and energy-utility industries, Dr. Clegern works with potential partners in the tech development, utility, renewable, EV charging and commercial/industrial communities who need cost-effective, non-chemical, deployable and green energy storage. Seeks to enable carbon-free power solutions that reduce CO2, NOx and SO2 pollution to preserve our environment for future generations to enjoy.
