ABOUT JAMES CHUONG
Hello there,I\'m James Chuong, a fourth-year Computing Science student at Simon Fraser University (SFU). I\'m a passionate software developer interested in leveraging modern tools and frameworks to develop applications that people can enjoy and benefit from. My projects span from a management application to help ease the scheduling of final exams for Fraser International College to a large-scale healthcare platform used in countries such as Sierra Leone and Uganda.My most recent work has involved maintaining a maternal care platform called CRADLE and Coder, a coding contests platform used by the SFU Competitive Programming Club. My coursework and projects have given me experience in Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, C, and full-stack development with React, Django, Flask, Express.js, Next.js, and Spring Boot.In addition to my technical experience, I am also very passionate about being involved in the computer science community at SFU. I frequently volunteer to help coordinate and set up events hosted by the SFU Computer Science Student Society and other clubs.I am currently seeking internship opportunities where I can apply the technical skills and experience that I have gained working on these projects, so that I can continue to improve and grow as a software developer.
