About James Caldwell

It’s hard to believe what you can accomplish in four years. Working as a leader in the non-profit sector, I was leading teams of over 100 volunteers and staff. I was successful in those various roles but I began to realize that I needed a job that challenges me to learn something new everyday. So I made the switch to web development. I started by going to Centriq Training in Kansas City and learned the basics of object-oriented programming. After graduating I worked at Houlihans Restaurants Inc as a front-end contractor. I worked there for about 7 months before Centriq asked me to return as an instructor. I grew so much while working at Centriq, becoming the SME on ReactJS training for career change students. Teaching C#.NET Core,SQL Server, API development, and ReactJS gave me a good base on the fundamentals. I achieved Instructor of the Quarter three times while at Centriq for exceptional performance, earning the role of co-lead for the Full Stack Coding Program. Currently working at Quest Analytics, I am working with some cutting edge technologies: React, React-Relay.NET Core APIs, Azure AD, GraphQL, and other technologies make up the suite of technologies that I’m working with on a daily basis.
