Led the delivery of site wide infrastructure for the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture - a 300 person residential agricultural campus with 70 ha irrigation scheme. 1.5MW hybrid solar PV and battery storage system provides power. All potable water treatment and wastewater treatment is managed on site. Comprehensive sustainable urban drainage system.

Infrastructure underpins a healthy, resilient and prosperous world. I\'m driven by the opportunity for fair and efficient provision of infrastructure. From the strategic, integrated planning of infrastructure services to support the development of communities, to the cost-effective and resilient operation of infrastructure systems, I\'m passionate about the role that infrastructure plays in supporting outcomes for society. Some of those outcomes include: sustainable use of natural resources, equitable and affordable access to services to support growth, working towards a net zero way of life, resilience in the face of changing risks.My experience is grounded in high profile urban and property development schemes in the UK in all sectors as well as in major industry and national resource infrastructure planning in Southern Africa. Recent projects have included the development of Best Practice civil engineering design guidelines for international Clients, engineering to support food security in Rwanda and research into the role of planning regulation in urban risk accumulation in sub-Saharan Africa. Currently working on improving strategic planning of infrastructure in support of strategic growth - jobs and homes - in the UK.
