ABOUT JAMES BRENNAN
My name is James Brennan and I am a J.D. candidate at the University of Virginia School of Law. Before law school, I attended the Heider College of Business at Creighton University where I earned a BSBA with majors in Economics and Business Intelligence and Analytics and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020. In undergrad I was heavily involved in economic research with the Institute for Economic Inquiry at Creighton. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I pursued a Master of Science in Economics at the University of Nebraska Omaha with concentrations in Public Policy and Trade and Global Value Chains. While earning my masters I worked for the UNeTech Institute, a startup incubator affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, to manage a team of analysts providing strategic business research and producing business models for medical technology startup clients. I worked in Lincoln, Nebraska with the Nebraska Department of Revenue as an economist after achieving my master’s degree. In this role I assisted with economic forecasting and conducted fiscal impact studies on Nebraska legislative bills.
