James Beckwith MA, MSc, LLM, PgCAP, FRICS, FAIQS, CQS, FCIArb, FHEA Associate Professor of Quantity Surveying; Chartered Quantity SurveyorI am the Associate Professor of Quantity Surveying with the University of the Built Environment. Qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2008 and Qualified as a Building Surveyor via Alternative Designation Recognition with the RICS in 2023. I am a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Certified Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. I hold master\'s degrees in Surveying, Construction Law Arbitration and Adjudication and an MA in History. I am a Registered Expert Witness with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Panel Adjudicator on the UK Adjudicators Panel, the CEDR Adjudicator Panel and the CIC & CIArb LVD MAP Panels.
