Experience
Co-founder
Sep 2025 — Present
As a Co-Founder at Gyde, I lead the technical strategy and serve as the primary software engineer for the company’s iOS application. My responsibilities span the full development lifecycle, including system architecture, feature development, testing, deployment, and scalability planning. This role requires both hands-on programming and high-level decision-making to align technology with business goals.I design and build the application using Swift and SwiftUI within an MVVM architecture, structuring the project across view files, data models, services, and reusable UI components. I have developed features such as a map-based interface powered by MapKit, interactive pins with metadata and filters, bookmarking functionality, and social engagement tools that allow users to share stories and locations. I also designed and developed the company’s website to support product visibility and branding. To support these features, I implemented a protocol-driven data service layer using Swift’s async/await, providing a foundation for both local and future cloud storage. Additional responsibilities include managing application state with SwiftUI’s property wrappers, implementing theming and accessibility standards, configuring asset catalogs for logos and icons, and building launch screens to align with company branding. I also resolve complex compiler and runtime issues related to protocol conformance, type handling, and UI rendering, ensuring the codebase remains maintainable and scalable as new functionality is introduced. Beyond development, I guide the technical roadmap, ensuring the system can evolve to support future social networking features and marketplace functionality such as guided tours and payment processing. This role has deepened my expertise in iOS development, scalable architecture, protocol-oriented programming, and user-centered design, while strengthening my leadership skills in translating product vision into technical execution.
