I am a hospitalist physician at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and a partner of Vituity.I recently completed a Health Services Research and Development Fellow at the Palo Alto VA and Stanford University at the Center for Health Policy and the Center for Primary Care and Outcomes Research. My research focuses on health economics and cost-effectiveness analysis methods and applications as well as outcomes research.My educational background includes a BS in Bioengineering from Rice University (Houston, TX), an MS in Management Science and Engineering with a focus in Decision and Risk Analysis and coursework in probabilistic analysis and simulation, supply chain modeling, and health policy modelling from Stanford University, and an MD from the University of Illinois. As part of my current fellowship I have completed coursework in cost-effectiveness modeling, advanced decision analysis, implementation science and am currently completing coursework in survival analysis and statistical regression methods.I completed residency in internal medicine at Stanford University (Stanford Health Care) and am board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM )I am highly proficient in MATLAB and Visual Basic for Applications in Excel, Excel and TreeAge ( decision analysis software package).
