ABOUT JAMES TURNER

James is a finance executive and entrepreneur with a passion for building businesses. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Continuum Companies, an integrated platform providing property management and residential services to homeowners associations (HOAs). Continuum was established to consolidate the HOA management and residential service industries—including maintenance, janitorial, and plumbing—under one cohesive platform. In his role, James leads the Finance & Accounting organization and plays a key role on both the Investment and Integration teams, which have partnered with more than 50 companies.James began his career in private equity, where he focused on the business services sector. He worked alongside operators eager to scale rapidly, helping transform their companies from pre-institutional small businesses into lower middle market leaders through high-volume buy-and-build strategies. As a thesis-driven investor, he continues to focus his investment and operational efforts on niche, highly fragmented industries where scale and professionalization create meaningful value.Rooted in an entrepreneurial upbringing, James grew up helping run his family’s flooring and snowplowing businesses, an experience that sparked his early interest in growing teams and companies. He later launched and operated his own venture during high school and college. Today, that same entrepreneurial spirit drives his work as he builds successful companies in industries he knows well.
