RUGGIERO has had a varied career. After 13 years in law enforcement, he began to realize his creative side and started to explore his life-long interest in photography. He was introduced to world-renowned still photographer HASHI who hired him as part of his team. RUGGIERO accompanied HASHI to Japan on assignment, learning his craft while working for companies such as Shiseido Cosmetics and Dentsu Advertising. Upon his return to the States, RUGGIERO was hired by legendary fashion and beauty photographer Francesco Scavullo. Scavullo is best known for shooting the covers of Cosmopolitan Magazine for over twenty-five years. RUGGIERO became Francesco\'s first assistant and ran the studio for approximately two years. This experience afforded RUGGIERO’S creative ability and interest in movie production has led him into directing. His experience as a fashion and beauty photographer has given him the ability and insight to understand angles and lighting, and how to make a model/actor feel comfortable in front of the camera.Ruggiero shot with many of the top personalities in the fashion and beauty industry such as Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Paulina Porizkova, Elle Macpherson, Madonna and many more. I also worked with many of the big screen and TV personalities such as Kim Basinger, Barbra Streisand, Paul Newman, Joanne Woodword, Bill Cosby, Susan Sarandon, Liza Minelli, Melanie Griffith, Nick Nolte, Luther Vandross, Ron Howard just to name a few.
