   Calculate and coordinate with Ernst & Young the accurate preparation of income tax provisions and returns, including complex tax equity investor partnerships(HLBV). Review and edit tax footnote disclosures filed with SEC. Interact closely with all of the company’s accounting & finance team, outside auditors (BDO), as well as senior management. • Manage all indirect taxes including sales & use tax, property tax, various business licenses, fees and annual reports. • Ensure timely payments are made for all taxes and the company is in good standing. • Assist with the identification and management of outsourced services for sales & use taxes including major sales tax audits. • Play key role with international finance team on international tax matters. • Draft and provide feedback on tax research memos for tax provision / income tax and sales taxes, including multi-million dollar audit. • Establish, improve and document the company\'s various tax processes, including identifying the core competencies of the accounting and tax department. • Oversee special tax and accounting projects as necessary, including company restructuring, SEC filings for reverse merger and IPO attempts.
