About Jamela Joseph
As a people-centered, values-driven leader with 14+ years of experience leading mission-driven teams, I bring a distinctive leadership approach grounded in culture-building that integrates people, performance, well-being, and mission impact.I have proven success in leading organization expansion and strengthening organizational effectiveness, meeting the evolving people, process and culture needs to achieve greater community impact. I am a systems-oriented, strategically perceptive leader who can see beyond surface-level issues and diagnose root causes that affect performance, culture, and results. I can read both the data and the room, naming what others sense but struggle to articulate. As a high achiever, I am known to create and ideate with the ability to combine vision and execution. Recognizing the impacts of high achiever strengths, I prioritize incorporating cultural and institutional practices where people are supported, developed, recognized, and celebrated. I see how we work together as an indicator of what we will achieve together. As a healing centered coach, I lead with people (rather than over), creating psychologically safe and empowered spaces for leaders to grow and develop. I am most proud of leading high performing team environments where belonging and accountability coexists, and results do not sacrifice well-being. I hold a Masters Degree in Organization Development and an ICF certification in Healing Centered Coaching.I am energized by impactful work and meaningful connections. If you’re interested in connecting, please send a LinkedIn note my way!
