Jameel has over 22 years experience in information security, information technology, security technical consulting, information systems security auditing, compliance and governance. Jameel has led the functions associated to Security, Risk Management and Compliance for several teams within Oracle. Responsibilities have included ensuring compliance with Oracle’s internal Security Policies and Standards, industry recognized security frameworks which include ISO 27001, ISO 27002, PCI, SOC1, SOC2, and regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, Sarbanes-Oxley, IRAP, and FedRAMP (Federal services assessed against NIST Moderate as well as NIST High). Jameel has also managed delivery of Managed Security Services.In addition, Jameel has led core internal security teams such as Risk Assessment and Audit, Incident Management, Security Architecture, Vulnerability Management, and Security Programs. Jameel is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) as well as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/IT) and frequently works with Oracle\'s Privacy and Security team to address Privacy requirements for many geographic regions. Jameel received his bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and his master’s degree from Florida Institute of Technology.
