Serving as a Coordinating Engineer supporting the Chicago Department of Water Management on active sewer, water main, and lead service line replacement (LSLR) projects. In addition to handling project documentation and field coordination across multiple districts, I’ve taken the lead in managing outreach efforts, working directly with residents, city representatives, and contractors to streamline communication and facilitate timely progress on CIP projects.My role involves supporting field teams, resolving issues that arise during construction, and ensuring that project updates, documentation, and scheduling stay aligned. I coordinate across teams to keep work moving efficiently while helping maintain a positive connection between the city and the communities being served.This position has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while giving me the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to essential public infrastructure work across Chicago.
