My current role involves supporting the development and registration of novel vector control tools currently being supported in the IVCC development pipeline. This involves working closely with industry partners, testing facilities, LSTM, LSHTM and other stakeholders as required to support trials in East/Southern Africa. I am responsible for providing logistical support and provide technical expertise on registration trials in the following (but not limited to) countries: Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Zambia, Zimbabwe. My duties in this role included: • Designing, implementing and supporting the development of registration trials (Phase II, phase II, community trials) in East/Southern Africa for IRS, ITN and ATSB products. • Overseeing the procurement and logistical support necessary to initiate and complete these registration trials. • Creating a series of supporting documents necessary to aid in trial initiation including (but not limited to) trial protocols, SOPs, system guidelines and data sheets • Supporting in the implementation of data collection tools and pro-active data quality management strategies. • Supporting trial facilities in the analysis and presentation of trial data • Monitoring and assisting the trial facility in the creation and completion of the final trial reports. • Supporting GLP accreditation activities • Assisting in the Safe Guarding development programme across supported IVCC research institutions
