About Jamarco R. Clark

Dr. Jamarco Clark is a higher education professional and a servant leader who is passionate about student success and development. He is the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS), where he oversees a diverse portfolio of programs and services that support and enhance the student experience.With a doctoral degree in student affairs administration and leadership from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, Jamarco has extensive knowledge and skills in various aspects of higher education, such as admissions, residence life, title ix, student advocacy, student conduct, and student engagement. He has also demonstrated his expertise in leadership and engagement, having served as the Director of Leadership and Engagement at the University of Iowa, and the Director of Volunteerism and Service-Learning at Mount Mercy University. In these roles, he developed and implemented innovative initiatives that fostered a culture of civic responsibility, social justice, and diversity among students and staff. He has also been recognized as a distinguished alumni leader and earned multiple certifications related to his field.
