Works with large scale multi-node, distributes application development and deployment using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Ansible, Mesophere, Jenkins, Consul, Vault, Prometheus, Terraform, Rancher, Cloudformation, AWS, DCOS,Marklogic,Glue ETL, Kinesis Analytics, SageMaker, Aws Lamda Function, Elastic Search and Vagrant. Develops REST Web Services in JavaScript, Groovy, Grails, Gradle, Maven, Java8, Spring Boot Framework, and PostgreSQL in conjunction with a 15-person team Dockerizing existing applications and transitioning them to Docker Compose or Kubernetes for local and production deployment. Conducts independent research, develops prototypes and documents/presents research results via workshops and examples across entire team including management staff. Develops and maintains repository for Docker images and Helm Charts. Works with DevOps team on Helm Chart deployments with various deployment tools. Works with Development team to integrate ongoing projects into continuous deployment and integration, including quality control gates. Writing Terraform Scripts to deploy applications to AWS via Cloudformation Scripts. Provide mentoring, consulting, supervision for up to a 15-person developer team. Developed continuous deployment and integration strategy using Jenkins, Java, Groovy, Grails, Gradle, and various other tools. Drives technical improvements by suggesting solutions to existing challenges, promoting best coding practices and software development standards, and acting as a reference for technical decisions. Create data processing infrastructure and tools required for moving extremely large data sets from storage and transforming it in the process to be used by people and machines.Worked on 2 person to develop and implement a “data-hub service” to intergrate and curate extermely large data sets and provide a fast, scalable, multi-module, elastic, transaction, secure data pipeline built within aws infrastructure using modern intelligent analytical metric tracking.
