Oversee the installation of geotechnical monitoring systems, ensuring all work is executed according to design specifications and safety standards, with a focus on tunnel support and asset monitoring.• Manage subcontractors to ensure accurate installation of monitoring systems and coordinate with the design team for any adjustments to the installation method, following proper protocols.• Review site-specific documentation, including location and ground distribution paperwork, ensuring compliance with safety standards and traffic control regulations.• Analyze and interpret data from monitoring equipment such as Vibrating Wire Piezometers, GMP, UMP and inclinometers, providing daily reports to the Contracting Authority (CA) and highlighting key findings for decision-making.• Integrate multiple design elements, such as construction methods and utility designs, to minimize installation costs and avoid future damage to monitoring instruments.• Implement effective installation methods to enhance productivity and reduce costs without compromising accuracy or safety.• Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and project managers to identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies, ensuring the stability and integrity of construction and excavation work.• Use geotechnical and monitoring software (e.g, Geoscop, CAD, GIS) for documentation, data analysis, and management of monitoring systems to ensure real-time accuracy in monitoring operations.• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, staying up-to-date with industry developments to ensure the highest quality of work.
