ABOUT JAMAL J. LEWIS
Driven by a belief in inclusive sustainability and the power of community, my journey has evolved from a focus on sports to a dedication to creating a healthier world for everyone. Leveraging my Environmental Studies (BA) and Public Health (MPH) background, I bring 10 years of experience in impactful policy and program design across housing, energy, and sustainability. As Chair of the DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU), I support efforts to advance equitable energy efficiency with strategic guidance, policy and regulatory advocacy, and stakeholder collaboration. I also contribute to regional climate solutions as a Board Member for Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP).Grounded in environmental health and public policy, my mission is to promote energy and climate strategies that benefit diverse communities. I value connection, open-mindedness, and continuous learning, both professionally and personally. Outside of work, you\'ll find me exploring, staying active, and cherishing time with family.
