In short, I plan to create businesses, grow them, sell them, and acquire more. Full Bio below Jamal is a 2022 graduate of the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. He has accepted a full-time role with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in the 2022 corporate associate class. Jamal plans to begin his career working in M&A, Capital Markets, and Private Financing; while serving the community by assisting small businesses to gain economic empowerment on a pro bono basis. At the Law School, Jamal served as the UDC Student Bar Association President, Managing Editor of the UDC Law Review, and Law Student Division Chair of the Washington Bar Association. Also, Jamal completed fellowships promoting community advocacy through the LexisNexis African Ancestry Network and Rule of Law Foundation and the Hennessy Fellows Program by Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Prior to law school, Jamal worked in management consulting. He delivered value by performing financial analysis, project management, change management, and technical implementation of financial systems. Additionally, Jamal worked a brief period in investment management, where he earned a FINRA Series 7 license.
