In support of Deputy Mayor Ana Almanzar for Strategic Initiatives and Nonprofit Services- overseeing and monitoring projects, legislation and policy initiatives to ensure goals, timelines, and intentions are met. Collaborating with DMSI team and external city agencies to perform qualitative and quantitative research in connection with policy proposals, projects, and DMSI initiatives. Liaison between agencies, stakeholders, and the Office of the Deputy Mayor, coordinating with boards, commissions, and organizations relevant to DMSI proposals to drive project goals and timelines.The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Strategic Initiatives leads priority interagency efforts to support New Yorkers’ educational, economic and emotional wellbeing. The office supports some of the City’s key initiatives to expand opportunities and services for New Yorkers including the Office of Childcare, the Office of Equity, Department of Youth and Community Development, the Office of Non Profit Services, the Office of Food Policy, the Center for Innovation through Data Intelligence, NYC Service, and the delivery of several cross-cutting initiatives.
