ABOUT ANUSHREE JALAN
I am a third-year student at Kelley School of Business studying Marketing with a co-major in Business Analytics. I have a passion for community development, leadership, and creativity. This can be shown by my work through my work with Pankh. Pankh, an organization I co-founded, spread menstrual hygiene awareness among rural girls. We collaborated with schools and different bigger organizations to accomplish our goal. We taught the girls ourselves. To do this we used the slides, pamphlets, posters, and other interactive teaching methods that I came up with. During our project, we went to about 11 schools and donated more than packets of sanitary napkins. I am currently in a project team in an organization called Net Impact. We are working with Earth Charter Indiana and coming up with new marketing strategies for the Charter to collaborate with new companies. As a member of the team, I can learn new skills like collaboration and what working with a client is like. In the future, I look forward to being able to join an organization that focuses on volunteer work. I also am working towards being to join the Kelley Honors program. I am also looking for internship opportunities to better my marketing skills.
