ABOUT RAMIN JALAL

As a Mechanical Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the semiconductor, PCB, and precision die-cutting industries, I have developed a diverse portfolio of skills and achievements in mechanical system design, simulation, and improvement. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University and a Certified SolidWorks Associate credential from Dassault Systèmes, demonstrating my proficiency in 3D modeling and design. In my most recent role at Lam Research, I worked on hardware design and simulation in NX, designing sheet metal and machined metal parts for development and maintaining projects. I also structured BOMs using Siemens\' IPLM and Team Center, and produced design solutions to address issues with existing products. I collaborated with cross-functional teams of engineers, drafters, designers, product managers, program managers, and directors, going through design review phases from conception to implementation. My ultimate mission as an engineer is to strive for green technology and innovation, and to contribute to the creation of a more productive, sustainable, and connected world. I have spearheaded the effort to convert a customer to biodegradable and post-consumer recycled products in my previous role at Marian, Inc, where I provided precision die cut solutions to the consumer electronics space. I have also mentored and championed automation interns at TTM Technologies, where I worked alongside production line operators and performed root cause analysis and process improvement. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities as a mechanical engineer. With my diverse skillset, I am eager to help the next teams I am a part of, achieve their mission.
