I am a business counselor leading the legal function for all Corporate Development transactions for GE Aerospace as General Counsel, Corporate Development, working closely with our executive team to accelerate our shared goals. I take a practical business approach to deals and the problems that arise starting from strategic inception and ending with post-closing integration or de-integration. Such exposure requires both legal acumen and general business counseling in all areas of law (e.g, IP, litigation, HR / L&E matters, compliance and antitrust), including understanding public company operations. Prior to my role at GE, I represented a wide range of buyers, sellers and their financial advisers — including negotiated and contested public acquisitions, private acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic alliances. During such time, I advised public companies on SEC reporting, listing requirements and general corporate governance / matters.
