I am leading the redesign and migration of the institutes data and DevOps stack from legacyVMs to a containerized cloud ready platform. This includes:• Structured collection of requirements from multiple inhouse stakeholder groups (DataEngineers, Infrastructure Engineers, Data Scientists, IT Management and ISB),• Design and implementation of scalable on-premise DevOps infrastructure on top ofKubernetes with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Harbor and Argocd,• Design and implementation of scalable on-premise data lakehouse with Trino, HiveMetastore and Iceberg, enabling frictionless migration from legacy RDBMs to an opendata lake storage infrastructure,• Design and implementation of DataOps ETL/ELT infrastructure and development work-flows with Dagster, dbt, Jenkins and ArgoCD, enabling Data Engineers to apply DevOpsand TDD best practices,• Skill sharing and onboarding data engineering teams onto the new platform.
