ABOUT JAKIYLA HEIGHT

I’m an Audit Associate at Crowe LLP in the Atlanta office. My professional background spans multiple industries including: automotive dealerships (compilations, reviews, COPS, and audits), manufacturing, employee benefit plans, and financial services. My work includes performing GNMA, FNMA, and HUD custodial testing at the custodian locations. Additionally, I’ve supported organizations ranging from local businesses to large corporate entities, giving me a versatile skillset and a strong foundation in problem-solving, client service, and operational understanding.I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clark Atlanta University (CAU) with a B.A. in Accounting and later pursued graduate studies in Kennesaw State University’s Master of Accounting program with a focus in Audit and Advisory. During my time at CAU, I served four consecutive years on the executive board of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society—an experience that shaped both my leadership style and my commitment to representation in the profession.Outside of the office, I’m all about balance—whether that’s exploring the outdoors, trying new foods, writing poetry, or diving into different creative arts. At my core, I’m a lifelong learner who leads with empathy, shows up with curiosity, and approaches every opportunity with a growth mindset!
