Senior Sales Operations Manager @Cisco Meraki

I was promoted to a senior sales operations manager where I am leading a team that focuses on large transformation projects, operational process improvement, cross-departmental collaboration and partnering with senior sales leaders to define the desired user experience for the organization. I work cross functionally with other department leaders to ensure changes to a sales process or seller user experience is represented across all cross-departmental initiatives to minimize sales and customer disruption. My role also includes defining prioritization of new initiatives with our technical teams, create communication roll out plans, and define seller training models where applicable for all large seller led transformation projects. I work closely with our sales leaders and strategy and planning SMEs to create data visualizations (primarily Tableau) that provide data driven insights to make analytical based decisions. Recent examples would include Year over Year forecast accuracy, pipeline health metrics between multiple sales personas, and the joining of multi-CRM views for leadership visibility. I also work cross functionally with Strategy and Marketing Leaders, to define territory routing functions to ensure records are assigned to the appropriate teams that follow the designed go to market model of the assigned region.As a people leader, my role is to also guide team members through leading transformational projects at varying levels of impact and varying degrees of difficultly. My role is to coach them on best practices for technical implementations, sales stakeholder feedback, and defining potential training plans to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives. My aim is to also expand the teams skillset into new technologies that can provide new solutions to Sales challenges. This can include holding group or individual training sessions with my direct team, training other functions on new technologies or giving them exposure to new tools.
