About Jake Roblez

As a Team Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, I apply thermal management expertise and management skills to oversee a team to design, procure, test, and implement high-performance equipment for the aerospace and defense markets. Previously, I was a Robotics Deployment Engineer with Amazon and Berkshire Grey, where I led and managed large-scale projects to expand robotic sortable fulfillment centers, with budgets up to $150 million. I also oversaw the installation and quality assurance of robotic arm sensor cages, and improved the production methods and performance of the equipment. I have strong communication, self-management, and decision-making skills, and I am proficient in various CAD and machining software, such as Solidworks and Fusion 360.I also value giving back to my community and taking leadership roles in non-profit organizations. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering from LSU, and several certifications in project management and remote work.
