About Jacob Ratliff
Raised in Cincinnati, I am a fourth-year student at Ohio University double majoring in Strategic Leadership and Management, through the College of Business; and Psychology, through the College of Arts and Sciences. I consider myself a charismatic and outgoing person, and I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships. I have been fortunate to hold multiple leadership roles in my extracurricular organizations at college and plan on turning my college experience into a successful and elevating career.I consider my leadership style to be based in democratic and visionary leadership techniques. I use my leadership style as well as my drive to creatively brainstorm and solve problems to be an effective team member in my many areas of interest.I find it rewarding to make new connections and develop relationships, personal and professional. My interest in dynamics like these has led me to pursue a career in the field of management or consulting, as well as studying psychology to better my understanding of relationships and motivators. My team and I provide excellent service to around 200 customers per day serving food and practicing food safety on the line, ensuring customers are satisfied with their food and experience in the restaurant. Other daily tasks rely on my attentiveness to a schedule to maintain the overall cleanliness of the store and keep up on stock so that food is always ready to serve and the store is always looking presentable.
