ABOUT JAKE MODICA
After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Marketing and minors in Informatics and Sales, I’ve had the chance to learn new skills at Pilgrim’s. I’ve gained experience in the plant, as well as learned more about what goes on throughout the entire process at Pilgrim’s. After spending time as a trainee and Operational Excellence coordinator I have spent the last 3 years as the sales analyst. My main tasks are compiling and creating reports, creating the yearly sales budget (worth over $2 billion in sales), and selling excess product for the Athens plant. I am currently in an MBA program where I am sharpening my data analysis skills by taking classes using Power BI and SQL.
