Hands-on technology leader with 15 years in the online dating B2C SaaS space. I led the team that built a new platform for niche, swipe-based dating apps, which grew from zero to over 2 million monthly active users (and over $70 million in annual revenue) in 5 years.Some examples of my results at Match Group include:• Grew a full-stack team responsible for the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of online dating websites and native apps from 25 to 50 engineers. Restructured the team into smaller, agile pods to increase efficiency and reduce distractions, resulting in higher productivity and better alignment with stakeholders.• Drove a 10x decrease in app downtime through targeted database, API, and native app performance fixes that increased concurrency and capacity by over 100%. These changes resulted in a measurable increase in user retention and lifetime value (LTV).• Advocated for a focus on quality that resolved common user complaints, resulting in a 10% increase in app store ratings across Google Play and the Apple App Store.
