I am a senior at Madonna University studying Business Administration with a concentration in supply chain and operations who plans to graduate in December of 2023. I\'m a dedicated, results-driven former student-athlete skilled in logistics and merchandising, with experience in client relations, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration. I am a proven leader as a football team captain and AIA President at Madonna University, with a commitment to academic excellence and fostering growth.Leadership I am recognized as the founder of Athletes in Action (AIA) at Madonna University. Through hard work and dedication, AIA thrived with 25-30 weekly attendees across five athletic programs. As President, I sent five student-athletes to retreats, showcasing our mission\'s transformative power. Additionally, I was blessed with the opportunity to serve as Defensive Captain of Madonna University\'s football program for two years, where I navigated challenges, fostered unity, and emphasized holistic excellence for over 170 student-athletes from different backgrounds. During my time as a resident assistant, I carried out many of the qualities I retained from previous leadership experience to ensure safety and promote community in my residence hall of twenty studentsData-Driven Decision MakingI thrive in data-intensive environments. In my time with Meijer as a merchandising intern, I was responsible for managing insights for over SKUs spread across 15 distinct categories, leveraging advanced data analysis tools. I then curated data to develop a demand planning forecast. This forecast played a pivotal role in setting pricing strategies and promotional timelines for new product introductions. During my tenure with PetSmart, I worked in the apparel department. Through this, I focused on enhancing reports and data visualization efforts, while meticulously running MicroStrategy reports. By analyzing and presenting this data, I empowered our demand and financial planners to create and maintain more accurate forecasts during the critical product development and planning stages.Customer Collaboration and NegotiationsAt Meijer, I collaborated with vendors and buyers, evaluating product performance, negotiating terms, and shaping promotion strategies. This experience gave me deep insights into the retail industry. In my current role at Fifth Wheel Freight, I excel in negotiating competitive transportation rates with customers and carriers. I prioritize relationships, safety, timeliness, and communication, all while ensuring value and efficiency.
