However, over the last few years, I’ve pushed myself toward challenges, both academically and athletically, and that shift has changed everything about how I work. I’ve learned to treat discomfort as a signal for growth and to focus less on perfection and more on progress.When I declared my Marketing major, along with my minor in Social Media & Digital Communications, I immediately looked for ways to apply what I was learning. Serving as the VP of Marketing for my Alpha Kappa Psi pledge class gave me real experience with branding and strategy, which led to my election as the Chapter’s 2026 VP of Marketing and a member of our Executive Council.As a Division I javelin thrower and Eagle Scout, discipline and consistency have always shaped how I work, and digital marketing pushed me to grow even more. Running the HPU Javelin Squad Instagram taught me how to build a community through athlete spotlights, event coverage, and branded content.These experiences showed me how much I value leadership and service. On the field, in the classroom, and online, I rely on communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to support the teams I’m part of.
