ABOUT JAKE FORBY

Director at Bridge Industrial with end-to-end responsibility for the origination, underwriting support, and execution of industrial real estate developments for institutional capital partners. I lead projects from early feasibility through delivery and handoff to property management, serving as the lead for navigating entitlement risk, schedule certainty, and cost control.I generate initial site plans, development schedules, hard and soft cost budgets, and lead due diligence inputs that directly support investment committee decisions and underwriting models. My experience includes navigating complex entitlements and CEQA processes. This includes full EIRs and discretionary approvals through close coordination with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders to mitigate risk and maintain execution certainty.I bring multi-disciplinary experience spanning design, development, and construction, having opened and managed a design/build general contractor office in Los Angeles and created the standardized outline specification now used across the region. This experience informs my approach to integrated construction oversight, contract negotiation, and design alignment. I draft and negotiate contractual agreements with general contractors and professional services contracts with architects, civil engineers, and specialty consultants, aligning scope, cost, and constructability with investment objectives.Since 2017, I’ve delivered more than 2.5 million square feet of industrial development while helping build scalable development processes, standards, and reporting frameworks that support platform growth and institutional execution. I partner closely with senior leadership to evaluate risk, inform strategy, and drive Class A development across many markets in California.
