About Jake Dorak
As the Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church since 2014, I have dedicated myself to leading, equipping, and sending passionate Christ followers to fulfill the Great Commission. With a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership and a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, I have the academic and practical knowledge to serve the church and the community effectively and faithfully. My core competencies include Christian Theology, Pastoral Ministry, and Bible Study, which I apply to preach, teach, counsel, and mentor the congregation and the community. My mission is to proclaim Christ, warn and teach everyone with all wisdom, and present everyone mature in Christ, as Colossians 1:28-29 says. I toil and struggle with His energy that He powerfully works within me.
