I am an accomplished information systems security tech leader that has successfully built and led security functions from the ground up at PayPal, Palo Alto Networks, and Intuit. During my career, I have spearheaded information security direction for multiple business units impacting cloud computing, e-commerce, mobile, and agile development.As a product/application security architect expert within enterprise environments, I have reported to a CIO and worked closely with VPs of Engineering and Product Development while leading teams on projects across multiple business units. I have also presented executive briefs to CTOs and CISOs across many industries. Among my additional unique qualifications: • Built information security plans, detailed service specifications, and service roadmaps.• Recruited and hired to build and lead PayPal’s entire cloud security architecture across GCP, AWS, and Azure.• Led creation and implementation of identity, workload, and control plane protections at PayPal, also building the threat detection and response strategy for cloud-centric security ops.• Created security services and enterprise information security architecture roadmap at Palo Alto Networks that had not existed previously, including its Security Operations Center. • Managed security integration following five M & As in four years at Palo Alto Networks.• Designed and led implementation of product security capabilities at Palo Alto Networks to provide developers with guidelines, training, and tools to deliver secure software through a CI/CD pipeline.• Drove build-out of enterprise security architecture at Intuit, including a company-wide cultural shift to AWS from conventional data centers; also managed security integration following M&A with Mint.
