In August 2022 I lead a management buyout of LEF. Knowing the lookahead and excitement there is in Scotland and particularly the NE and highlands & islands it was the perfect time. Our vision by 2025 is to become an engineering hub of choice in the NE and highlands & islands. We will do this by our continued ambition and progress in the energy sector, making waves in the renewables market and doubling our workforce in Shetland.We’ll champion the developing workforce offering opportunities for young people and working closely with schools to offer placements, training and career opportunities for the next generation.We’re here to service big companies who need efficiency and manpower, but we’re also here for our community. Our reputation will have reached beyond the NE and highlands & islands and ambitiously, we’d like to be in talks with companies from Norway to The Netherlands who are looking to us for their engineering solutions.
