ABOUT JAKE ROSBERGEN

I lead the Health, Safety & Environment department of ElectraNet. This comprises Field Health & Safety Advisors, Field Environmental Advisors, Environmental Advisor, Team Leader Field, Performance and Governance Team Lead and function, HSE Administrators, Graduate Field Advisor, Training, Wellbeing, Worker’s Compensation and RTW function of a self-insured company. ElectraNet own and manage South Australia\'s high voltage transmission network which transports electricity over long distances from traditional and renewable generators – both local and interstate. ElectraNet is a specialist in electricity transmission, providing energy and infrastructure solutions across Australia. We power people\'s lives by delivering safe, affordable and reliable solutions to power homes, businesses and the economy. ElectraNet owns and operates over $2.5 billion of electricity transmission assets and has one of the highest network reliability levels in Australia. Our business includes South Australia\'s regulated transmission network. This network moves electricity from traditional and renewable power generators in South Australia and interstate, to where it is needed. We are planning for the future - preparing the network for the changing way that electricity will be generated and consumed. I have extensive experience managing and leading HSE teams across Australia and have a comprehensive understanding of health, safety and environmental systems. Throughout my career I have worked across a diverse range of high-risk industries and workplaces including mining, logistics, oil & gas, fuels, stevedoring, HV energy transmission and infrastructure, telecommunications, forestry, FMCG and manufacturing. A significant passion of mine is guiding and mentoring workgroups and key stakeholders through key learnings, investigation findings and how continuous improvement delivers a safer and happier workplace. I enjoy collaborating with workgroups and garnering comprehensive information to assist in implementing a risk-based approach to modern HSE systems in the workplace.
